How matching works

Your Kundali and fixed rules. Not AI.

Bhava is a dating and matrimony app with no feed to scroll. Every evening at 7 it sends you up to five introductions, seven with Plus. This page shows exactly how they’re chosen: by a fixed set of rules our team wrote, with your Kundali score out of 36 counting most. No AI model picks anyone, and nothing learns from what you do.

How your Drop is made

No AI matchmaking

Matched by the stars, not by a machine.

Your Drop · every evening at 7
A North Indian Kundali chart inside a ring of 36 points, split into the eight kootas: Nadi 8, Bhakoot 7, Gana 6, Graha Maitri 5, Yoni 4, Tara 3, Vashya 2 and Varna 1.
Same inputs, same DropPhotos checked by a person

Every evening at 7, your Drop is built by a fixed set of rules our team wrote. Nobody under 18 of 36 ever gets through, and people within the distance you set come first. Then your Kundali score counts most, followed by things like distance, how complete a profile is and how recently someone was active. Same inputs, same Drop.

  • Your Kundali score decides

Who you meet comes from a fixed ranking led by your 36-point score, within the distance you set. No AI model, no recommendation engine, nothing that learns from you.

  • A real person checks every photo verification

Your pose selfie is compared with your profile photos by someone on our team, by eye.

  • Our team writes every question

Opening lines, questions and the Kundali truth-or-myth game are written by us, not generated.

The one automated step: photos you upload go through Google’s image safety check, which screens out explicit content. It has nothing to do with who you’re matched with.

Drop Facts

No AI chooses your matches. Here’s what does.

Tonight’s Drop comes from a fixed set of rules our team wrote, the same for everyone. Think of it as the label on the packet.

  • A person checks every photo

Someone on the Bhava team compares your live selfie, copying a pose we ask for, with your profile photos. By eye.

  • Written by our team

The opening lines, the questions and the Kundali truth-or-myth game are written by people at Bhava.

  • The one automatic step

Google’s image safety check screens uploaded photos for explicit content. It has nothing to do with who you meet.

Who does what

Rules where it’s maths. People where it matters.

Your Drop at 7 is built by a fixed set of rules our team wrote. No AI models, no recommendation engine, nothing that learns from what you tap. The maths does the maths, and people do the parts that need a person.

The hard rules, then the score

  1. Within the distance you set, when anyone is that close. Nobody you’ve passed on, liked or blocked.
  2. Anyone under 18 of 36 is never shown. Not once.
  3. Then one fixed order. Your Kundali score counts most, then distance, a complete profile, being active lately, being new, and a Plus boost. People who are reported or inactive are shown less.
People, where it matters

What people do

  • A person checks every verification. Someone on the Bhava team looks at your pose selfie next to your profile photos, by eye.
  • Our team writes the words. Every question, every opening line, and the Kundali truth-or-myth game.
  • Your parents can help. Invite them and they see your matches and scores, and leave you private notes. You decide who joins.
The one automatic check

A safety filter for photos

Uploaded photos go through Google’s image safety check, which screens out explicit pictures. It’s the only automated step anywhere in Bhava.

It has nothing to do with who you meet: it doesn’t choose, rank or score anyone.

7pm, every evening

Your Drop

Up to five introductions. Seven with Plus.

Each one is there because of the rules you’ve just read. No guessing, no black box, nothing that learns on its own.

Same inputs, same Drop.

The short answer

Does Bhava use AI to match people?

No AI picks your matches. Every introduction is scored on the 36-point Kundali system and chosen by fixed rules our team wrote. A real person checks every photo verification. Our team writes every question and opening line. The only automated step is a safety filter that screens uploaded photos for explicit content.
