Do I need my birth time?
Not to save your spot. When you make your profile, the app asks for your date, time and place of birth to work out your scores; they’re never shown to anyone. Use the time on your birth certificate or ask your family. A rough time is fine: most of the score comes from your Moon, which changes slowly through the day. Read how the eight Ashtakoota checks are scored.
Does Bhava use AI to match people?
No AI picks your matches. Every introduction is scored on the 36-point Kundali system and chosen by fixed rules our team wrote. A real person checks every photo verification. Our team writes every question and opening line. The only automated step is a safety filter that screens uploaded photos for explicit content.
Can I join for my son or daughter?
Yes. When you save the spot, pick My son or My daughter. They count toward Bay Area, and when it opens they make their own profile and can invite you to see their matches.
Is Bhava on Android?
Yes. Bhava is on Google Play for Android and on the App Store for iPhone. Save your spot from either phone: you count toward Bay Area now.
What does signing in with Google create?
Only your sign-in and your spot on the list. We use your name and email, nothing else. Your profile is made in the app, when you’re ready. You can use email or phone instead.
Why does Bhava open city by city?
Introductions only work when there are enough people on both sides nearby. We open a city when its list can support a few good matches every evening, not before.
What does the goal mean?
It’s the number of people we’d like on Bay Area’s list: 100, the same as its first 100 founding spots. Reaching it doesn’t open the city by itself: we open when both sides are there, and we’ll tell you the day we do.
Are the numbers real?
Yes. Each count is people who confirmed on this site plus members already in the app in that city, shown from the first person. A city nobody has joined yet says “Be among the first”. Women and men are shown apart only once a list is big enough that no one stands out.
